Today, at the Austrian ERA Symposium, Austria has revealed its new ERA Action Plan 2026-2028. The Plan is composed of five fields of action and 15 initiatives:
- Field of Action 1: Strengthen Framework- and Working Conditions for Researchers
- Field of Action 2: Promote Openness, Infrastructures and Key Technologies in the RTI-System
- Field of Action 3: Strengthen International Cooperation and Research Security
- Field of Action 4: Enable Knowledge Transfer to Industry and Society
- Field of Action 5: For a responsible and value-based Research Policy
