The strategic plan of the Belgian Federal Science Policy Office (Belspo) for 2022-2024 pledged to integrate the 2007 law on gender mainstreaming in the management and accessibility of the federal collection and in the museography of the institutions. In order to address the structural and historical imbalances, the POD (Belspo) will take into account the different situation of women and men in its policy advice and in its actions, recurrent activities, programs and projects, and especially in the activities that the department will implement under this plan (gender integration or "gender mainstreaming"). The POD (Belspo) will therefore attach particular importance to this dimension when defining and allocating its national or international research programs.
