The Government of Spain, through dialogue and social collaboration, is developing a roadmap to walk towards a better collective destiny, towards a more equal, prosperous and sustainable society, only achieving a fair and efficient transformation of the country by managing to attract and retain the scientific talent of women. In this context, this report shows with the rigor of the data, the current portrait of the participation and leadership of women researchers and scientists in Spanish universities, public research organizations and companies, delving into the advances and setbacks in the gender gap and analyzing the impact that our equality policies are having on this gap that, although it is decreasing, still persists in Spain and in the rest of the world.
