Draft Framework for Estonian Open Science

In Estonia, a separate political framework for Open Science has yet to be developed, but several initiatives, discussions, and studies have taken place to create such a framework. A draft framework for Estonian open science is one of the annexes to the Estonian Research, Development, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Development Plan 2021–2035 (TAIE).  This framework is based on the recommendations of the Open Science Expert Group established by the Estonian Research Council in 2016, and two studies conducted within the framework of the RITA programme and the recommendations of the European Commission and the OECD.
