Öppen tillgång till forskningsdata 2024 [Open access to research data 2024]

This report by the Swedish Vetenskapsrådet describes the development of the national work on open access to research data during 2024. This year’s mapping shows that strategic focuses and implementation of open access are being established in processes and working practices. Researchers still need various types of support, however, for example when assessing whether research data should be made openly accessible, and in the form of technical solutions and knowledge-enhancing initiatives. It is still not possible to estimate the scope of open access to research data in Sweden. Open access is increasingly being introduced in the incentive system.
