Public Information Act (Estonia)

Public Information Act in Estonia states in § 3 (1), point 8(2): “Information collected or compiled during scientific research and used as evidence in the scientific process or generally considered necessary in the scientific community to prove discoveries and results made during scientific research (hereinafter referred to as scientific data) shall be made available for reuse if the creation of scientific data has been funded from the budget of the state, a local government unit, or a public legal entity, and the researchers, persons engaged in scientific research, or persons funding scientific research have already made it publicly available through a digital institutional or sectoral scientific data repository.”
