This strategy and action plan for the greening of public education and research infrastructure until 2030 is the first methodological step towards establishing the foundations for concretizing the green and digital transition. By investing in public educational and research infrastructure with comprehensive renovations and new buildings promotes the process of reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs, thereby contributing to greening, namely by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing the use of renewable materials and promoting a sustainable approach. The effects of greening public educational and research of the building stock have a broad social impact, namely on learning and research processes, values and patterns the behavior of participants in the educational and research process, thereby making a significant contribution to green transition.
