The New European Innovation Agenda (NEIA) is an action plan launched by the European Commission in July 2022, with the objectives of boosting innovation in Europe, especially in deep-tech sectors. It addresses areas such as access to finance, talent development, experimentation spaces and innovation ecosystems. This report takes stock of the state of play of the NEIA: less than two years after its launching, all the 25 actions have been launched and 12 of them have already been completed. Additional EU initiatives and around 200 actions taken by Member States and Associated Countries contribute to the goals of the NEIA and pave the way for a future reinforced “Innovation Made in Europe”.
